The Balzer Diabolo 5 Catfish rod is a really cheap catfish rod which is perfect for beginners. It is a plug rod. It consists of two parts.
Unfortunately we had to find out with our test rod that the plug connection was a bit stuck. Therefore we think that this catfish rod can only be loaded to a certain degree and would break at catfish over 2,00 m. However, this rod is suitable for beginners and for smaller waters.
Due to the size of 2,10 m this catfish rod falls under the smallest catfish rods and is therefore very suitable for stowing away. The casting weight with up to 390 g is quite acceptable compared to the other tested catfish rods.
